Two things.

1) Very good for blood pressure

2) For iced freeze some in cubes so your drink isn't diluted.

I buy Roselle's when they are available here in FL then take out the seeds to plant and freeze the flower for tea later.

Oh wonderful! That sounds like you’re making the most of them. :)

I love all things hibiscus, hot or cold. And I love adding some fresh ginger (and lime) to mine as well. Will have to try this version next!

oh yay! :) I agree, lime does go well with hibiscus, too. It’s funny I looked into it and learned that a Mexican Agua Fresca with hibiscus would probably be similar to this but would use lime instead. Otherwise though, agua frescas are pretty different from şerbet. When you try it, I’d love to hear what you think of this. :)

Lovely recipe, Leslie. I have never had a Hibiscus drink. Have to try this, so curious to try this.

Yay! It would be refreshing in the Florida heat. :)

This şerbet is so much better than lemonade. Off I go to have some right now. Gluck, gluck, gluck.

This sounds so refreshing! I’ve been drinking hibiscus tea lately and enjoy the flavor, so I bet I’d really like this too!
